Anything you send into a room can be locked with a price. Members see a teaser and a button; they pay once and it opens for them permanently.
- Tap the lock in the composer.
- Set a price and write a teaser.
- Send it as normal.
The teaser is the whole thing
"Locked content" sells nothing. "The part my lawyer asked me to cut · 12 min" sells. Say what it is and why it isn't free.
Lock sparingly. A room where every third message costs money stops feeling
like a room and starts feeling like a shop with a queue. One good locked drop
a week beats five mediocre ones.
What works
- The unedited version of something you published clean
- A thing you'd normally only tell someone in person
- The file behind a result you showed off
