The honest answer: less than you think for entry, more than you think for the thing you're best at.
Entry to a space
₦1,000–₦3,000 a month is where most paid spaces sit in Nigeria. Below ₦1,000 people don't value it. Above ₦5,000 you need to be replacing something they already pay for.
Selling a course or a file
₦5,000–₦25,000 depending on how specific it is. Specific beats comprehensive. "How to mix Afrobeats vocals" outsells "Complete music production course" at the same price, every time — because the buyer knows exactly what they're getting.
40 people at ₦2,000 a month is ₦80,000 — ₦72,000 after our 10%. That's
more reliable than one ₦72,000 sale, because it happens again next month.
Start higher than feels right
Dropping a price is easy and people forgive it. Raising one annoys everyone who already paid. If nobody buys in two weeks, lower it — that's information, not failure.
What not to do
- Don't price by effort. Nobody pays for your hours; they pay for their outcome.
- Don't undercut to compete. The cheapest option attracts the hardest customers.
- Don't discount quietly. Use a code with an end date so the price still means something afterwards.
